My dad's 50th birthday was the first time most of my family had seen me since Shaun and I eloped a few months earlier. While everyone was excited for us, they also had their worries.. "But you're so young! Have you been together long enough?" and I answered like I always do: "When you know, you know." It seemed the only person who really understood was my cousin Kelsey, we ended up making our way into the corner where she told me about how she understood the feeling. She told me that she had just started dating this new guy and that he was it.. he was the one. She said "I know it's still new, but I know that one day I will marry Andres" So it was no surprise when, a year later I opened my emails to find one from her telling me that Andres had proposed.
About a week later they made their way up to Santa Barbara to do an engagement session on a beautiful foggy morning at Los Carneros Park near Goleta. Congratulations Kelsey and Andres- I couldn't be happy for the two of you!
